I didn’t monitor my web stats in 2004 (shocker!), but here’s a snapshot of how my little blogging experiment has grown from 2005 to 2008:

    I have indeed posted several stories on Oregon Reddit this year. However, a lot of the links that I post are to other websites and not my own. It was interesting to watch as I neared the top 10. All of sudden everything I posted was getting voted down in a matter of minutes.

    not sure if kl was trying to insinuate that promoting your blog on a social bookmarking site is bad, but i can’t think of any moral qualms with such an act. in fact, read any SEO 101 tip sheet and it will give that exact tip (along with promoting other posts to gain social standing, which it sounds like you’ve been doing, eric). keep up the good work!
