I’m now an INFJ

I am an INFJ - Click to view my Personality Profile page
I used to be an INFP.

According to MyPersonality.Info, “INFJs, making up an estimated 1% of all people, are the most rare type (males even more so). They are introspective, caring, sensitive, gentle and complex people that strive for peace and derive satisfaction from helping others. INFJs are highly intuitive, empathetic and dedicated listeners. These traits tend to act as a “tell me what’s wrong” sign on their forehead, hence the nicknames Confidant, Counselor or Empath. INFJs are intensely private and deeply committed to their beliefs.”

  1. Ha, we were just doing this yesterday. I’m an INTP. My husband is apparently an INFP, although we’re both blended slightly with other types.

It was strange reading their “relationship matches” for each type. It looks like they placed all introverts with extroverts, which strikes me as very odd. I know people are all about the “opposites attracting” myth, but as an introvert, it would drive me batty if my partner wanted to go out and party and socialize all the time.

  2. Well, I just took this test really quickly, after reading your post, and mine came out an ENFP, which surprised me, but then maybe that’s why I have a problem being alone…..!!! And I wouldn’t say I have excellent people skills. Maybe I’m a frustrated ENFP!

ENFPs are introspective, values-oriented, inspiring, social and extremely expressive. They actively send their thoughts and ideas out into the world as a way to bring attention to what they feel to be important, which often has to do with ethics and current events. ENFPs are natural advocates, attracting people to themselves and their cause with excellent people skills, warmth, energy and positivity. ENFPs are described as creative, resourceful, assertive, spontaneous, life-loving, charismatic, passionate and experimental.

  3. I’m an INFJ too! Yay, welcome to the “judging” side of things.

It’s been a while since we chatted. I hope that you have been doing well. I don’t know if you heard that I moved to Germany (I’ve been here about a month, and I’m working as an au pair). Things are good. Take care :)

  4. hey bro I’m an INFJ too. just found this blog of yours via google. I’ve been meaning to connect with other INFJ bloggers as well. I’m glad I found your site.

    God Bless.

  5. What do you get when a bunch of INFJs get together and talk?
I don’t know as I am not aware that any of the people I know are of the same type.
