I agree that our place looks pretty good on paper. A lot of our moving mania is due to our neighbors. They are in constant party mode.

I am hoping to earn my apartment-hunting deity credentials by September. I'll keep you posted on my omniscient progress.

Eric, not to be a jerk, but I laughed out loud when I read your post. If you can find a better apartment than your current place, taking into account location and price, I will consider you an apartment-hunting deity. I've probably physically looked at 50+ places in the last 2-3 years (and that doesn't include poring over listings) and never found something as good as what you have now. Corvallis isn't really a very friendly place when it comes to renters, at least not in my experience.

Good luck in your search.

I am right there with ya. We want to buy but the market is atrocious.

Contact Mary Vance. She sends us listings pretty often that are in our price range. We are looking here and in Philomath, but Albany is out of the question.

Contact her and let her know your price range. A lot of what she's sent me is bare land, condos for sale, manufactured homes... but every now and then, a cute little house comes along. She is a great person to know.

Yeah, the Corvallis housing market is not such a friendly place to those of us who aren't rich. If I see any good two-bedrooms for cheap advertised, I'll let you know. If you see any good one-bedroom that allows a cat, let me know?

Ann: How in the heck do you have windows on four sides? I didn't know that was possible in the city.

Reagan: Our current place would be great if it existed independently of the rest of the quadplex. Our neighbors damaged your car and we've called the cops on them a few times due to extreme amounts of noise. We have used up our faux resident director credits :)

Thanks for the compliment about our decor.
