Apparently the flu has landed in Corvallis, Oregon. I have been down since Sunday night! This version of the flu, I’ll call it 2.0, was extremely powerful. I spent Monday on the couch watching Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark while sipping an IZZE Blackberry. I slept through about half of the movie. Flu 2.0 lasted for two days. Wendy ended up buying some Zicam for me.

At first, I thought she was trying to take me out before Valentine’s Day. This stuff tastes awful! The packaging states that it is virtually tasteless. I guess I was not sick enough because my tastebuds were able to detect the hazardous-chemical flavor of the Zicam. Ick!

Anyway, I am back to school/work today. I hope your Valentine’s Day was as memorable as mine! Fortunately, Wendy and I had taken a mini-vacation to the coast on Friday/Saturday as well as attending the Pink Martini Concert. Who knew that I could put Zicam, Flu 2.0, IZZE, Indiana Jones, Valentine’s day, and Pink Martini in the same post? I’m the king of randomness!
