I recorded bell hooks’ talk at Lewis & Clark College.
Question: Since no one said anything about recording the talk and since I am not selling it, can I post it on my blog? I took a ton of notes so I plan on posting my thoughts plus possibly some audio. bell hooks is amazing!
Did you ask for permission to record the talk? When I went to UO to see her lecture, I asked the organizers and they said no recording devices allowed; the ticket even says no recording devices/cameras allowed…
I didn’t ask permission. The organizers did say no to cameras but no one said anything about recording. The ticket, program, and poster say nothing about audio recording.
Did you have fun at the U of O? The format was q & a right?
