My mom is definitely a cool person. However, my post was about how my mother had to put up with sexist comments about her abilities as a woman in contrast to her brothers. My uncles were never praised for their abilities to work "like a woman."

Also, our family was a Case IH family. Sorry, no JD tractors on the farm...</description>

					<description>I don't think its so much whether a woman is doing a man's job or a man a woman's as much as "is that person comfortable and happy doing whatever it is".  We are all responsible for our own feelings and I'll bet your mom was happy at whatever she did.  Doesn't matter what other people think or say.  Also, I'll bet your mom rode a John Deere.  She sounds like a cool lady.</description>
