However, my post was about how my mother had to put up with sexist comments about her abilities as a woman in contrast to her brothers. My uncles were never praised for their abilities to work "like a woman." Also, our family was a Case IH family. Sorry, no JD tractors on the farm... @ rdl,

We are all responsible for our own feelings and I'll bet your mom was happy at whatever she did. Doesn't matter what other people think or say. Also, I'll bet your mom rode a John Deere.
